Godot 4

Today I will continue on to the next tutorial on Godot and get closer to finishing my brick breaker game.
Here is the video I will be using.

I had some serous problems because I couldn't find the script button that was shown on his screen.

mine did not have the same button and I couldn't find a replacement.

I decided to select the manual script loader in the inspector and wright my code there but had no luck. It didn't work at all.

I discovered the problem was that he had an older version then I did.

I went looking for a more recent tutorial and found this.

After a brief investigation I discovered this and felt very stupid.

  I have successfully followed his tutorial so far and Monday I will be exploring scripting further still in his second video.
